Onet Technologies' training agency obtains CEFRI accreditation to deliver RPS training in the nuclear reactor sector

Ever since the official publication of the decree of December 6th 2013, which came into enforcement  on January 1st 2016, major changes have impacted the training of radiation protection specialists as well as the procedures and conditions governing the accreditation of training centres.

This training is mandatory in the medical, transport and industry sectors and in the nuclear industry of course, for professionals who hold the title of "PCR" – in other words who hold the responsibility of ensuring the radiation protection of the workers in their entities.

Seizing the opportunity offered by these changes, Onet Technologies decided to apply for CEFRI accreditation and to enhance its training offer by adding officially approved, high level, high quality training programmes.

After more than 1000 hours of work invested in a project comprising several key phases, our Training Agency obtained its CEFRI accreditation on February 2nd 2016.

Onet Technologies is the first (and only) training organisation to have obtained Level III certification in the field of Nuclear Reactors.

Furthermore, to complete this prowess, Onet Technologies will soon be the only certified training organisation qualified to intervene in multiple sites, across all levels of activity.

We are now set to deliver initial or renewal training to PCR personnel who work for companies and nuclear reactor operators (EDF, AREVA, CEA, the national Navy…).
