“Young Talents in Cleaning”: The Marie Curie Vocational High School Picks Up the People’s Choice Award!

The Federation of Cleaning Companies, which represents the 32,000 companies and 500,000 employees of the sector, has just organised its first national “ Young Talents in Cleaning” competition in conjunction with the Ministry of Education.

This competition was designed to raise awareness and bring together the world of education and the world of business as well as shining the spotlight on the cleaning sector.

Onet partners the Marie Curie Vocational High School!

It was the students studying for their vocational school leaving certificate in Hygiene, Cleaning and Sterilisation (HCS) who picked up the People’s Choice Award.

Since the month of November, these students had been working on a reportage entitled “I’m in HCS: what’s it all about?” to raise awareness about the c leaning business and promote jobs in the sector. The documentary highlights the different career paths available after graduation.

Skill-development through training: A priority for Onet

Among those employees at Onet training to be a branch manager today, around 20% began their career in the company as a service agent. As a perfect illustration, in the report, we discover the testimony of the district manager for Onet’s Clermont-Ferrand branch, who is himself a former graduate of the Marie Curie Vocational High School.

Congratulations to all the participants!
